Binali Yıldırım, more commonly known as Binali Arınç, is a Turkish politician and lawyer. He was born on May 25, 1948 in the city of Erzincan, Turkey. Arınç graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 1972, and practiced law for several years before becoming involved in politics.

He served as a Member of Parliament for the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) from 2002 to 2015, and was appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey between 2009 and 2015, during the tenure of then-Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Arınç is known for his conservative and religious views, and has been an outspoken advocate for the rights of women and children. He has also been vocal in his support for democracy and human rights in Turkey.

In recent years, Arınç has been critical of some of the policies of his former party and government, particularly in the areas of freedom of speech and press freedom.
